Vijayakumar Chabria is one of the flamboyant cable operators in Bengaluru and he has many records to his credit. In his stint in 30 years in Kannada he showed his complete affection and admiration to Kannada language besides doing many programs in which telecast of Iran and Iraq war via cable he gets the distinction.

He is a hardcore fan of Dr Rajakumar films and used to sleep whole night outside Narthaki theatre to watch Dr Raj film Nyayave Devaru. He had seen this film for 14 times and how he learnt to read and speak Kannada is very interesting factor.

He kept on seeing Kannada films to catch the language and one day someone asked him to file the application Chabria went to a lady tutor and learnt reading and writing in 29 days. The first word I started reading is ‘Prajavani’ he remembers his past.

Vijayakumar Chabria is so fond of the song Akashave Bilali Mele….that he translated this song to English and sung in his locality for a long time. He is the unopposed vice president of Karnataka Cable TV Association for seven years.

On his first venture that too with daughter Bhumika as heroine Chabria says it has a original story and it is not instant love show in the film. Love is divine. I had seen the interest and involvement of my wife Indrani and daughter Bhumika to give a nod for making this film.

We have shot only in Karnataka for 46 days. In places like Salkeshpur, Kumta Fort, Kaginale, Jain Basthi, Nandigrama, Magadi Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple surroundings adds Chabria.

On his experience so far in this film ‘Ishta’ he says I have done Pooje and Aradhane. Waiting for right Prasad for it he says.
